About Me
I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and educational background in Kinesiology and Health Sciences, with over 20 years of experience working with traumatic brain injuries. I have worked with individuals of all ages and diverse populations and my clients have had a wide range of concerns including trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, life transition, and grief.

I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for successful therapy. I endeavour to build a trusting and collaborative relationship to help my clients achieve their goals.

There is an understanding that every person is different and as such, there is no one size fits all approach that will work for everyone. I have a passion for finding the approach that will work, and tailor treatment to meet every individual’s unique needs. Drawing from aspects of many theories such as Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness, and taking an integrative approach, can be valuable for providing flexible, personalized, and holistic treatment to address physical, emotional, and psychological needs. I have found that recognizing and incorporating strengths into treatment helps build hope, resilience, and coping skills to face life’s challenges.
